Alyssa Jovanovic is the founder of Priority Life Coaching. As a Certified Life Coach, she is dedicated to helping others achieve success and true happiness.  Alyssa has devoted her career as a coach to foster and promote growth and potential, both personally and professionally, in each of her clients.

Alyssa holds a Phd in Sociology with expertise in the areas of Stress and Coping, Social Support, and  Work and Family Balance.  She has numerous publications and a book chapter related to these topics.  After completing her education, Alyssa spent her time working for Alberta Health Services developing herself as a coach, consultant and facilitator. She became certified as an Improvement Specialist and a Change Expert.  During her time with Alberta Health Services, Alyssa coached many teams and individuals to help improve their work and work environments. Currently, alongside her coaching practice, Alyssa is also a Faculty Member with the University of Calgary and loves to teach students in courses focusing on Work and Family.

Alyssa’s philosophy for achieving success with her clients is simple:

I believe each client is the expert and it is my job to:

1) Discover, simplify and align clients objectives and goals

2) Inspire self-discovery by asking the right questions

3) Elicit solutions and strategies generated by clients by providing unique tools and techniques

4) Support clients through the change process

5) Hold clients responsible and accountable.

By following the above principles, I help people work through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life is too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. I can help you learn and develop better ways to handle the situations that are blocking the pathway to your goals.

When Alyssa is not working with her clients or teaching at the University she loves to spend time with her husband, Vladimir and daughter, Abby on their farm taking care of their horses.
